This firm’s minimum price is charged for each professional action carried out in defence of our client. A single specialised professional action will be charged at this same price: assistance to the detainee, statement, defence brief, attendance at trial, appeals, etc. This is set out in the notarial declaration deed dated 10 October 2019, of the notary Don David Garrido Puente, which is shown to our clients on the day of signing the engagement letter if they request it.
The price will increase depending on the difficulty or complexity of the case, the number of offences for which the client is under investigation and the severity of the penalty requested by the Public Prosecutor. These prices shall apply to each and every one of the offences investigated and charged to the client. If the case is dismissed by the Court or provisionally stayed, the corresponding fee will still be payable, the agreement of bonuses being permitted. This price, established in the aforementioned notarial deed and recorded in a judgment, shall apply when the client has not signed an engagement letter.
These fees are recorded in a judgment of the Court of First Instance of Madrid, confirmed by an Order of the Provincial Court of Madrid:
Judgment of 23 September 2014, of the Provincial Court of Madrid (Section No. 25), in Appeal No. 549/2013, which confirms Judgment No. 783/2012, of 13 February 2013, handed down by the Court of First Instance No. 5 of Madrid.
